The Visitacion Valley Redevelopment Program has been over 10 years in the making, but it is only just beginning to enter the most exciting parts of the planning process. With the anticipated adoption of the Visitacion Valley Redevelopment Plan by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in the Spring of 2009, clean-up of site contamination and project-level design finally began. We invite you to stay involved with the project
Below are events that have recently occurred or are scheduled in the coming weeks:
February 9, 2010: Visitacion Valley Citizens Advisory Committee meeting (Download Agenda)
February 13, 2010: Visitacion Valley Planning Alliance meeting (presentation on the park, streetscape, and site design process for the project site). Visitacion Valley Community Center, 66 Raymond Avenue, Saturday, 10 am-noon.
February 20 & 21, 2010: The project's Open Space, Streetscape and Site Design Open House, a two-day walk-in, walk-out public event on Saturday Feb 20 (11am to 5pm) and Sunday Feb 21 (1pm to 5pm) at the Visitacion Valley Elementary School. Wrap-Up Presentation from 5 to 5:30pm each day. Come whenever you want within these times and stay however long you'd like. (Download Event Notices in English, in Spanish, or in Chinese)
